"Life as a Mama shouldn't be so ruff'" . But it is and instead of always stressing over the constant cleaning up and picking up of toys, clothes, food, etc., the overflow of the never-ending laundry pile, the sticky floors, the leftover toys in every single room, or the bathroom takeover by your toddler, let's take a moment and remember that this too shall pass. I know that eventually I will be able to just sit and have a phone conversation without interruption, I will sleep, I will always know where the remote control is, I will finally have my own space in the living room and there will be no more toys to pick up. But there will also be no more hugs and snuggles, no more overflowing joy when I come home from work, no more sing alongs with Alex during breakfast, no more reading story books and no more little human crawling in to bed with me because he had a bad dream. So I don't know about you Mamas, but I'm gonna' embrace the chaos.
