Krishna Janmashtami is an auspicious Occasion of the birth of Lord Krishna.
The festival is marked on eighth day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada in India. Janmashtami is usually celebrated by keeping fast and performing pooja. As per the Hindu Mythology, Lord Krishna, the human incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born on this day to destroy Mathura’s demon King, Kansa.
