Nick was awarded the 2022 Alabama Restaurateur of the Year the day before this episode dropped.
Nick grew up in Philadelphia (went to elementary school with Will Smith!) but made his way to Alabama as a walk-on football player at the University of Alabama. He worked for 27 years under the "wings" of Bob Baumhower and his restaurants throughout the state of Alabama before partnering with Panini Pete in 2013.
