I’m excited to chat with you all about this topic. I could go on and on about this topic because there is so much to unpack, but today we will chat about some basics. I will walk you through what each of these is, what each does for our bodies, how much you should have & how much is potentially to much. I am not a nutritionist or a registered dietician. However, I have received my information from my studies over the years from medical journals and the certifications I do have from NASM and IIN.
Always check with a physician or an RD or better yet, a holistic practitioner if you really want to dive into YOUR gut microbiome. It makes ME happy to educate people and while there is a lot of info in this episode, I just want you to grab one piece of info and take it into your daily lives so…here we go…
When you think about the nutrition label, most times people only check out how many calories there are, how much protein and fat oh and don’t forget those dreaded carbohydrates! Maybe you check the sodium (which is important to check), but that ingredient list is almost MORE important than the nutrition label....
