This is definitely in the top 10 most proudest things I’ve ever done!
It might mean nothing to a normal interviewer but for me to speak with such an accomplished academic such as an Róisín álainn! (The beautiful Roisin) is a thing that I once wouldn’t have dreamt of as I would have felt totally inferior but today I see all people as equal just with different stories.
Róisín received her masters in linguistics in UCC and her major languages were Gaeilge and French.
She is passionate about her mother tongue and now lecturing in UCC.
Róisín is a proud Sinn Fein member and plays an active part in the party both home and abroad. She is such a positive person and this conversation is incredibly interesting and uplifting for me. I hope you all feel the same.
