In this episode, Amy and Aly share their own experiences running during pregnancies and different tips and ideas they have. In Amy’s first pregnancy she ran up until she started feeling pain from her hip labral tear around 20 weeks and she ran until 36 weeks in her second pregnancy. In Aly’s first pregnancy, she was told not to run at 7 weeks. She started a return to run program around 13 weeks but given the added difficulty of starting after a break during pregnancy, she stopped running around 20 weeks. She hasn’t run in her second pregnancy due to a foot injury that she had beforehand. They discuss belly bands, the urge to pee, and racing during pregnancy.
