Formed in 2013 by former Nile guitarist Dallas Toler-Wade, the band's name alone invokes visions of a desolate, otherworldly soundscape. Led by the creative genius of Dallas Toler-Wade, Narcotic Wasteland emerged from the fertile ground of the death metal scene. Toler-Wade's pedigree as a founding member of Nile, a legendary and influential band in the death metal genre, lent immediate credibility to his new endeavor. However, rather than resting on his laurels, Toler-Wade sought to explore new sonic territories with Narcotic Wasteland, pushing his creative boundaries to create a sound that is uniquely their own.
