This is an important message because I think that as believer you should know that God wants you to ask, to talk, and to communicate with Him as if He is, as if He did, and as if He will. Part of your prayers should include asking; not all but part. God wants us to want to be in relationship with Him. In fact it is the most important relationship you can be in. If you read 1 Thessalonians 1:8 you will see an event that will be taking place shortly and it has two requirements for the believer – Know God and obey Him. If you do not know God then what are you doing acting like a Christian? You must know that this won’t help in the day of His return right? No good to fool all of mankind for your entire life only to end up standing in the wrong line in heaven. Be a Christian who is daily pursuing God, becoming passionately in Love with Him, serving Him as He directs, teaches, and leads you, through His Holy Spirit. In the kingdom of God love is serving, so serve away in your calling using the gifts, talents, and spiritual resources that God has given you. But, but, but if your not born again then stop, stop, stop get on your way until you are ready to get on His way.
So now, let’s stop distracting me, and allow me to get into some scripture:
1 Kings 3:5 - 5 At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
