So this may sound contradictory in that we know that God desires that all men be saved as it states in 1 Timmy 2:4 “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” So if this is the case, how then is it possible that at the same time He would be thinning the herd. Well my “Seedy Seedlings” message explains that and so no need to go into it here other than to say He does and is, and even will be. See what Matthew states in 25:32-33 – 32) All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33) And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
