In this episode we chat with Chelsey who had the Duodenal Switch in March of 2020. She tells us what life was like before surgery, growing up and dealing with Diabetes as a young adult. She made the decision to have surgery and in a surprise move, had 6 days to mentally prepare for surgery. That surgery became one of the last performed her in area as the world was in the middle for shutting down, uncertain when it would resume. Hear her tell us what that was like, if she still has diabetes and how her life has improved since that single decision.
