Stephen started his professional career in 1986 as a S&T Trainee Technician in British Rail and later worked as S&T Manager, Senior Engineer, Principal Manager, Professional Head of signalling and control systems in Sydney Trains and Program Director Digital Systems in Transport for NSW.
Stephen has immense experience after working in different roles in his career. Stephen is well known as a people’s leader who worked in both public & private sector in rail network and systems strategy and development in Australia and the UK. Stephen is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Engineering Executive specialising in systems thinking and a passionate advocate for the use of technology and innovation to achieve integrated, sustainable, and customer-centred outcomes.
