Thijs is an experienced Systems Integration leader. His main professional experience is the North South Metro line in Amsterdam that went into revenue service in 2018, where he was responsible for systems integration. After that Thijs joined the Digital Systems Program in Sydney, first as Integration Director and later as Project Director. Earlier this year he left Australia to return to The Netherlands, his home country.
Thijs now supports various large projects and programmes in applying a systems approach to delivery. Having been part of projects that have struggled significantly because of lack of integration, his personal mission now is to help major programs improve their performance by placing systems thinking at the core of their strategy.
