Description

Today I was joined by Ann Williams. Six years ago, following a creative itch and a long-standing family tradition. Ann enrolled in a Vanderbilt University metalworking class and transformed her small garage storage room into a jewelry studio to create solid 14k gold bangles for her family. She could never have imagined that this simple, joyful hobby of handmade bangles would grow into a thriving jewelry business with 15 employees and thousands of customers around the world. Ann Williams is the CEO and Founder of Yearly Co., a fine jewelry company that specializes in 14k gold anniversary and milestone bangles and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. When she’s not busy running her business, you’ll find her piled on her porch swing with her two young girls, her husband Pat, and her needy rescue dog Ollie.

In this episode, we talked about Ann’s first two businesses, the family tradition that led her to starting Yearly Co., how to start a jewelry company, the delicate balance of being a mom and a business owner, and so much more!
