When Carol's new boyfriend, Tim, turns out to be a man-child, Carol turns to her sister's dog training techniques to see if she can create the man of her dreams!
Siri produced a zoom table read of her romantic comedy screenplay, “Training Tim”.
"It was absolutely body-shaking-exciting, to have life breathed back into this project! Everyone had a great time and loved the story!" Siri and team are currently looking for patrons to invest in making this movie. Be a producer with them if you have the initiative to secure some funding! If you know anyone wanting to invest in a good old fashioned romantic comedy with heart, soul, laughter, tears and a message with deep value, look no further. Training Tim was nearly made in 2015 by Brad Pitt's company. It had director, Robby Benson, attached at one point. It had actress, Katheyrn Winnick, attached at one point. It had actor, Anson Mount, playing Tim at our table read in NYC at HBO. Wendy Malick played Barbara at the table read in LA at the Luxe Hotel. We had many producers and productions and many people that deeply loved this movie. It had a massive poster that sat in a NYC office for a while. Siri Baruc Thornton was encouraged on this podcast to bring her screenplay back to life by the head of The Creative Coalition, one of the former producers, Robin Bronk.
