Affectionately known by many as The Purpose Pusher, Dr. Teresa Moore knows firsthand what it’s like to deal with rejection, hurt and abuse.
As a community agent of change, minister, and mental health professional, Dr. Moore takes pride in sowing seeds of hope and love throughout Pontiac, Michigan, and surrounding areas. As the owner and operator of Emages Counseling and Advocacy Services. Dr. Moore has over 29 years of extensive experience working with the developmentally disabled and mentally challenged population in various leadership roles.
Dr. Moore penned her first book “Awaken to Win” April 2020. This book is filled with daily affirmations and prayer that is sure to jumpstart the day. She was included in Anthologies Gathering the Fragments with her chapter, “Saved Junkie Looking through Tainted Lenses”, December 2020 and Living and Loving Life Without Regrets with her chapter, “Spilling the Tea”, March 2022.
Affiliated with numerous professional and community organizations, such as the American Counseling Association, Psychology Today, NOHS, HUS Club, the American Red Cross and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dr. Moore is sure to bring life to any dead situation she encounters.
