Have you heard about the SAFE-T Act that will become law in the state of Illinois starting in January? No? That really doesn't come as a surprise. This law is...bad...real bad. Not everything in this law is horrible and we discuss the things we see as positive (police reform) but the bad that is tied along with it is real bad, like no cash bail for a long list that includes kidnapping, assault and even murder! Laws that are hastily passed in the middle of the night are never good.
