Bio 

Amie Kromis pairs 10+ years of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) experience in the aviation, construction and health/hygiene industries with her mission to evolve business by making it more inclusive. Amie's passion is embedding DEI into a business’ way of working. Kromis currently serves as DEI Director for North America at Essity, a leading health and hygiene company. 
 
Kromis served on the Black Alumni of Southern Methodist University (SMU) board, received the 40 under 40 Outstanding Women in Construction award from Professional Women in Construction, and serves on the Forte Foundation's Alumni Leadership Council. 
 
Kromis received her bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and public affairs from SMU and holds a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where she was a Forte Foundation Fellow. Kromis hails from Nashville, Tennessee and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
