Listen as Tom and Bert get into the 1980's Movies and Music that they recommend while bringing in some of the slang from that decade.
The 1980's had some of the best movies ever and arguably the "most quotable" movies of all time. "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", "Caddyshack", "The Princess Bride", ''Die Hard", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Predator" and "When Harry met Sally" to name just a few that had some memorable quotes.
Who can't read sheet music?! Wow, an impressive list of some of the most iconic names in music history that wrote, produced, arranged and recorded yet could not read music is mind boggling. From ALL the Beatles to Prince, Miles Davis, Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Jimi Hendrix, Taylor Swift and Elvis just to name a few.
Later the guys cover the Aids Epidemic that was a huge story in the 1980's. This was a time when we all became educated on the impact that this disease had on the world population, the misconceptions that people had about the disease and the passing of people from all walks of life.
Lastly we cover the Movies that we enjoyed with our kids with a few stories from those days.
