On this Pod Tom and Bert discuss Festivals that gained lots of attention back in 1969 and drew massive crowds to the events.

First we briefly get into the Atlantic City Pop Festival which occurred from August 1st thru August 3rd, 1969 at the Atlantic City racetrack in New Jersey.

We then roll into the grandaddy of them all when it came to Festival's, Woodstock!

August 15th thru August 17th for 3 Days of Peace and Music as it was billed. It actually dragged into August 18th where Jimi Hendrix closed the Festival with less than 50k people remaining from the estimated crowd of over 500k people!

We go over the the Bands and Acts that performed and cover in detail information about the Festival and some interesting facts.

As we close the show we interview a great friend of ours that was actually at Woodstock, Bob DeLucia. Bob discusses what it was like leading up to the event, how they heard about it, how he and his 2 buddies made the trip to upstate New York and how they documented this historic and iconic event as well as a whole bunch of side stories.
