Adhering to your diet & remaining consistent with the plan is far more efficient than adding cardio in to your plan like confetti
Cardio isn’t a short cut to your goals
It’s not like express shipping versus standard delivery time
Stop treating your exercise like it’s the cure all to your wholistic approach
It’s a band-aid for a bullet hole
If you genuinely enjoy running, perhaps you’ll need to start fuelling that exercise adequately with ENOUGH carbohydrates
You’d be surprised how unnecessary extra “cardio” can be for fat loss and muscle gain
And how excessive high intensity “cardio” can actually work against your muscle growth goals
Sure, high intensity “cardio” has it’s place in programming
But there’s a time and a place where the efficacy for a specific sports performance/cardio fitness based goal can be justified
Learn the difference between fat loss/body recomposition requirements, cardiovascular health and performance base requirements and how they relate to the implementation of cardio
