Fear of the Lord is interesting. 2 Timothy 1:7 says that God hasn't given us the spirit of fear, so how could fear be a good thing?
I believe that fear in this context is more about reverence, confidence in God's infinite ability to keep eternal promises, and hope than what we may think of as fear.
