Hi there! My name is Dallin Candland. After being a podcaster for over 3 years on the YIELD Today Podcast I felt called to start another one, purely about my faith in Jesus Christ. He has surely made up my soul and blessed me in every aspect of my life.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and am eager to share things I have learned gaining my testimony, serving a mission, and navigating post-graduation life from BYUI as I am now.
The Lord and His Spirit have never failed me (Alma 4:15), and so, we are going to take this challenge, and dive as deep as we can in the scriptures and get more tiny flecks of gold to put in our pouches of life.
Here are the two kinds of episodes you can expect to see:
"Flecks Episodes" -Short episodes talking about scriptures and thoughts that have been like flecks of gold that have been precious to me in my own life.
"The Mine" - Longer episodes diving deep in the scriptures and in personal experiences with guests. The goal of these is not to have the most sophisticated guests, but rather, again, to find those flecks of gold we can all use to strengthen us in our faith in Christ.
The main goal of this podcast is for those who are overlooking the flecks of gold in your life and helping you go from, "There's no gold here!" to "Oh, there's gold all right."
