On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are considering planting anise garden to appease our new plant overlords. We watched the 2008 film from M. Night Shyamalan, The Happening.
The plants have had enough! They are pissed off and throwing down the gloves. It’s time to kick ass and chew some tree sap… and they’re all out of sap.
It turns out that the trees aren’t too happy about being heartlessly and systematically chopped down and destroyed. Their response? Release a deadly contagion into the air which, when inhaled, makes humans kill themselves. The terror!
Never fear, though. When all seems lost and hope is nowhere to be found, we as a people can turn to Earth’s greatest hero: the only, the only Mark freaking Wahlberg.
In this month’s B-movie episode, we’ll get to the bottom of this famously iffy film. Will we deem it brilliant, a flunder (that’s a fun blunder), or the dreaded blunder? Enjoy finding out!
