A boy likes a girl. This girl dreams of seeing a real life tree at least once in her life. The boy now has a mission. He will risk his life to accomplish it.
He meets a curious character named the Once-ler in a barren wasteland. This mustachioed person tells him a grand tale of terrible misdeeds and an eccentric creature called the Lorax.
