On this episode, we are joined by Mo'ath Alkhawaldeh (Mo) a Jordanian Marathon runner who is aiming to break his national record of ~ 2:17:24. Setting his sights on the Marathon he is currently training at altitude in St. Moritz alongside many other elite athletes who have been preparing for the Monaco Diamond League, The Commonwealth Games and European Championship 2022.
Named one of Runner's World's top 50 influential runners of all time, Mo educates people from deprived communities and third-world countries on the life-changing impact that sport can have on one's life. Mo had no idea that he could get a sports scholarship to an American University until he was approached by an acting agent who wanted to hire him as an extra in the Hurt Locker movie. He now travels the world spreading the word of how sports can elevate the deprived and help bring them out of poverty.
