Rob and Jason start a conversation with Twanna Henderson about how to find healing and rejuvenation after a long season of pain, difficulty, and trauma. Twanna Henderson co-founded New Beginnings Church in Matthews, NC with her husband, Michael. She serves as the Executive Minister of Church Ministries. She is also a workshop and retreat speaker, a certified Personal Growth Coach, and a Christian lay counselor. Twanna also serves as the National Director of Bridge Network Women's Ministry for Converge and is the host of the monthly Podcast entitled T-Time: Conversations For, With & About Women.  Twanna was recently elected in an at-large race to the Board of Commissioners for Mint Hill, North Carolina. Her historic win made her the first person of color to ever sit on the Town Board.

Twanna has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Juris Doctor Law Degree from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC, she studied at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in the Master of Christian Leadership program, and she holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition, she is also a licensed Attorney who served thirteen years as a Civil Court Magistrate Judge for Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, NC.  In the fall of 2013, she published her first book, Dancing with the Scars.
