Being a parent is a time of really low sexual satisfaction for many people. It's really important to state because people can end up feeling as though there's something unique to them or unique to the sexual relationships they find themselves in which is problematic. We know it's a period of low sexual satisfaction and there are a ton of reasons for that, time available, increased stress, increased mental load ….. decrease in relationship satisfaction. The bottom line is parenthood is associated with lower sexual satisfaction, but know that there is hope at the end of the tunnel.
