[There are approximately 250 foster children in Charleston County, and hundreds more in the cities surrounding our Seacoast Campuses. Lynne Stroy and Allison Cordle, both licensed foster parents, have opened up their homes to these children, representing two of the other 1200 licensed homes in South Carolina open and ready to do the same for the 4000 kids in the state who are in need of a home.
Deeper context of this need is shared through Allison and Lynne's personal stories as caretakers of these children, including the challenges, what goes on behind the scenes, their perspectives of the parents of these children, and how they see their role serving these children and their parents.
