Today we have a conversation with Dr Leticia Dourado on how loving kindness and meditation can change our lives and how to implement it.

Dr. Leticia Kawano-Dourado, MD, PhD, is a Brazilian pulmonologist and researcher. She does primary and secondary research, primary research in Interstitial Lung Diseases, and secondary research in trustworthy guideline development.

She lost her mother to ovarian cancer in 2014. The journey as a family member of a patient with a life-threatening disease has hugely influenced her practice. She is also a regular meditator (Tibetan Buddhism, which has strong roots in loving-kindness practices)
