In this episode, John and Fr. Stephen set the philosophical foundations of truth as viewed by Plato, Aristotle, and early Christianity. They then journey through the immaterial world of perfect objects and forms in Plato's philosophy, and Aristotle's emphasis on the intellect's judgement. They investigate Christianity's personification of truth as Jesus Christ and explore St. Augustine's perspective on truth as a property of knowledge.

They then turn their attention to truth and prophecy. Poring over the New Testament writers, they unravel the meaning of Jesus as Lord, Christ, and resurrected, highlighting God's unshakeable faithfulness to His promises. The danger of denying Jesus as the Christ and Son of God is discussed, emphasizing its relation to truth. The role of false prophets and the gift of prophecy within the Church is also examined. Even 2,000 years after Jesus's incarnation, we find ourselves constantly discovering the fullness of His truth!
