In this episode, Smitha Murthy talks about how she discovered the ancient Chinese practice of Qigong and how it helped her in her anxiety and emotional wellness.
Smitha shares her experiences in being a pretty robotic individual with some very set practices and how Qigong gently showed her how to go with the flow - both in terms of exercise and life in general.
She didn’t go to a formal class, although you could try formal Qigong classes if you find them online or at a center close to you. Qigong is different from Tai Chi and although there are similarities to yoga, Smitha found Qigong more useful in alleviating her anxiety.
