From Paul J. Tafelski, Michigan Defense Law - Michigan law allows motorists to be charged with various offenses, including operating while intoxicated (or OWI), or driving under the influences. OWI/DUI can be filed against anyone who is over 21 years old. Many people don't realize that the blood-alcohol limit for drivers under 21 is lower. If your blood-alcohol levels are higher than 0.02, you could be charged with OWI/DUI.
