Description

Did you know right now in the world there is an organisation called The Responsible Metaverse Alliance and that it exists to ensure the safety of people within the virtual world? Have you heard of transhumanism and what the greatest danger to humanity is in relation to artificial intelligence? Did you know that in the unregulated Metaverse, there is a sexual assault issue?

Unless you yourself are deeply embedded in the world of technology and AI, this episode is going to explode your mind. This is the story of a future that is already here. Of artificial intelligence, of a Universe that exists with visuals but no matter, yet creates a visceral and emotive response, it’s the mind-blowing reality of the Metaverse, it’s dangers and it’s opportunities and at the centre of it all, one woman on a mission to get ahead of it’s immensely rapid expansion and create a safe Metaverse foundation for all, it’s the incredible tale of a woman journeying through real planet earth deserts and jungles on her own adventure of self-discovery through pychedelics.

Dr Catrina Wallace is the Founder of the Responsible Metaverse Alliance and the Executive Chair of Boab AI - Artesian Capital's AI Accelerator and VC fund, she has been recognised by the Australian Financial Review as the Most Influential Woman in Business & Entrepreneurship and was the Founder of Ethical AI Advisory, now part of the Gradient Institute, where Catriona is a Director.

She is the co-author of the book Checkmate Humanity: the how and why of Responsible AI.

Catriona was the Founder of Artificial Intelligence ASX Listed company Flamingo AI, which exited in 2020. Flamingo AI was the second only woman led (CEO & Chair) business ever to list on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Beneath all of that Dr Catrina Wallace is a Woman, a Mother and a Medicine Woman in training – but perhaps not the kind of medicine you think.
