Welcome my friends to episode 12 of The Life Right Here podcast.
This episode has been inspired by a very disheartening 24 hours…and it was a phone call from my mum that ended with “Don’t worry it’s only white ants” and us both exploding into laughter that made me think - I have to share this.
So this episode is the random sharing of a day that didn't go to plan - the kind of day where things just seem to escalate, with one challenging experience backing onto the next, where sometimes the only thing to do is laugh and maybe go to bed and hope that tomorrow is better.
However after I share my story of the 24 hours (of Wed-Thurs last week) I also want to share a practice that I learned via Rick Hanson - a psychologist and teacher of contemplative practice who has written many books. This practice he calls “Take in the Good” I’m going to share with you as it’s super powerful in times where you feel like everything is against you.
I’d love to hear if you’ve ever had a day where nothing seemed to go to plan! Message me on instagram or send me an email.
Thanks for listening.
