Hello and welcome to episode 26 of the Life Right Here podcast!

To me pressing pause in our life can be done regularly throughout the day to recalibrate and reset or refresh our senses. And one of the limbs of yoga that best guides us to do this in my opinion is pratyahara or withdrawal of the senses. Pratyahara is the 5th limb of the 8 limbed path of hatha yoga and is a bridge between the more external focused 3rd and 4th limbs and the internal focused 6th and 7th limbs of Yoga.

In this episode I give my favourite ways to withdraw the senses and here are some of the practices I mention:
Yoga Nidra
The Tranquil Posture

And if you feel that pressing pause on your life is well overdue and want to do that in a more substantial way may I recommend you check out my upcoming retreats - the next one is March 16-19th at Nobby’s Creek in Northern NSW - a beautiful retreat centre - heart and soul retreat space, plenty of yoga, mantra meditation, sharing circles, deep reflection and rest as well as nourishing vego food and Kirtan with my beautiful friends from Krishna Village on the Saturday afternoon - check my website or Instagram @jalayogaandcoaching for full details and sneak peeks of the venue - there’s only a few spots left! I also offer payment plans over a longer period if that will support you to attend just ask me about it.

Have a beautiful week and don't forget to hit pause!!
