Senator Todd Young (R-IN) discusses “What Next for US Retirement Policy in a COVID-Challenged Economy?," a webinar hosted by The American Council for Capital Formation and Empower Retirement.
Senator Young serves on the Senate Finance Committee and is the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Social Security Services, Pensions and Family Policy. Therefore, he is one of the most influential members on Congress on retirement policy. He also is a member of the Senate Committees on Foreign Relations; Commerce, Science & Transportation; and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Earlier, he served three terms in the House of Representatives. Politico recently said, "Senator Young’s partnership with Democrats has helped position him as the go-to Republican to forge bipartisan consensus on global affairs." Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) observed, Senator Young is “laser focused on policy and willing to risks.”
