***From Warren Wiersbe’s commentary on Psalm 97
- Principle - God’s faithfulness is the same for Abraham, Moses, and me.
- Application – Am I allowing my feelings to convince me that God’s promises have changed?
Psalm 105
- Principle - God will not forget nor will He let any of his promises go unfulfilled.
- Application – Am I trusting God’s promises for tomorrow knowing he was faithful in the past?
Psalm 114
(Joshua 3:14-17; Exodus 17; Numbers 20)
- Principle – Creation obeys and trembles at the presence of the Lord, just like we should.
- Application – What is my reaction when I know God has called me to do something? Is obedience my first step?
Psalm 136
- Principle – His love endures forever!
- Application – Do I truly believe this? Do I believe it in the good times? Do I believe it in the bad times?
