Arsenal's return to champions league knockout round of 16 left us with our teeth kicked in following 1-nil loss. It was a sloppy game in all elements representing our identity on the pitch. Could have been a plan to neutralize Arsenal; it worked. Oddly hard to cry foul when part of the plan is to frustrate Arsenal player and gameplan. While experience in European competition often wins, which is what the gunner squad is carries, that can be in our favor if we apply ourselves aptly.
There wasn't much exciting highlights, but Arsenal showed grit to endure an overbearing Porto. Give the squad and missing players, I think we did well enough in terms of match up. Not the best commendation pod for Arsenal in this game. There were direct cause and effect from the defensive challenge we face. I threw all my chips in what our response will be in the second leg.
