First game of the New Year Arsenal vs Newcastle at the Emirates. One of the most nervous games till date. Playing against the most defensive team is tough task which Arsenal was ready for. But the nil-nil draw was not without it's own misfortunes. Arsenal attack was not in its most efficient performance starting with the captain. This was a very intense game with so much emotion (maybe from recent memory against Newcastle) albeit different circumstance. Good to see a better outing for the defense - a sense of calm was needed; maybe much more in goal-attempts. Amongst other blessings to be counted, neither of our yellow card suspension candidates got into the books. Now we look on to the next - NLD. Up the Arsenal!
