Arsenal edge Nottingham Forest in thrilling opener. Playing at the Emirates, the Gunners got their Premier League season off to a winning start with a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka scored the goals for the Gunners.

Arsenal dominated for most of the game, but  had to deal with a late surge from Forest. The visitors pulled one back in the 83rd minute through Johnson, but Arsenal held on for the win.

Nketiah opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a close-range finish. Saka doubled Arsenal's lead in the 32nd minute with a stunning strike from outside the box.

Forest pulled one back through Awoniyi in the 82nd minute, but Arsenal held on for the win. It was a thrilling opener to the Premier League season. Although Arsenal left with game with a bigger worry with Jurrien Timber's injury.
