Description

Arsenal's opening match of the 2024-25 season against Wolverhampton Wanderers was a solid performance that saw the Gunners secure all three points with a 2-0 victory. It wasn't without its challenges, but the team showed resilience and quality, especially in key moments.

Bukayo Saka once again proved why he's one of the brightest talents in the Premier League. His energy and creativity were on full display, and he played a crucial role in both goals. First, he set up Kai Havertz with a pinpoint cross that the German headed home to give Arsenal the lead. Saka then sealed the win with a stunning left-footed strike that left the Wolves' goalkeeper with no chance.

Wolves put up a fight, particularly in the second half, pressing higher and creating a few nervy moments for the Arsenal defense. However, William Saliba was a rock at the back, helping to secure a clean sheet and keep Wolves at bay.
