Arsenal faced their first loss of the season to Lens. A physical battle in this game till the end. The game started looking like we got control of it until a second of an event turned it on it's head. The gunners were able to endure much of the pressure and duels until fatigue and a bit of out-of-sync got to the team.
While this team are no strangers to chasing a lead, the physicality and lack of offensive spark saw our chances much singular in approach. However, the spark did come with a number of subs that perhaps would have been needed much earlier. In this pod, I picked out my top 3 performers from what became a cagey Arsenal team fighting for a result. A lot to take away from this loss. Hopefully we don't lose more than that. And so we move on to the next big one. Onwards & upwards. C'mon Arsenal!
