I caught up with Taj Mian, guitarist and 1/3rd of the band "Half Moon Panic" Most people just settle for presents for their birthday but not these guys, they decided to form a band!
Taj talks me through their journey from making their debut at his own birthday party to being head hunted and going on to play their first summer festival. More success was to come as they went from strength to strength gathering momentum and going on to play the prestigious "International Jazz And Blues Festival"
Taj talks about his early career in a band called "The Expandables" where he met every member of the band on the school playground!!!!
They released an album in 2021 titled "Welcome to the Small Time"
Taj explains the origins behind the band name and the meanings behind the album name and their more recent album titled "Songs from the pit" released earlier this year!
