8 days after Jesus was born his parents took him to the temple for his dedication ceremony.
Jesus would be dedicated to GOD and be circumcised as was the Law of Moses.
To seal a promise to Moses, GOD required all be circumcised as a blood sacrifice.
When the new parents got to the temple, we find that GOD had sent a priest to work today so that he could meet JESUS.
GOD had promised Simeon that he wouldn't die before he got to see JESUS.
As Simeon was praising and thanking GOD for forefeeling his promise, Anna came to see what all the joyful celebration was about.
You see she had lived and worked in the temple from the moment her husband had died, after 7 years of marrage.
GOD knew that this would bring them both joy and GOD is true to his promises.
We believe that the right person will hear the right message at the right time.
