The story of the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) reveals Jesus' presence and guidance even when we may not recognize Him. After His resurrection, Jesus walked alongside two disciples who were discussing the events of His crucifixion. Though they were filled with doubt and sorrow, Jesus explained the Scriptures, showing how they pointed to His life, death, and resurrection.
When they invited Him to stay and broke bread with Him, their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him. The disciples immediately returned to Jerusalem, filled with renewed faith and hope, to share the Good News.
This passage reminds us that Jesus is often with us in our journeys, even when we are focused on our own struggles. Through Scripture and fellowship, He reveals Himself and reignites our faith.
We believe that the right person will hear the right message at the right time.
