Part Two of our discussion about "playing in the text." Using the examples of Jesus's baptism and the Exodus story, we discuss how exploring the imagery, emotions, and connections in a Bible passage can help us better understand the story. Note: during the podcast, we recommend a book by Lois Tverberg and Ann Spangler. Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that Tverberg recently spoke out against LGBTQ+ inclusion. We are disappointed and wanted to make sure our audience is aware of this stance.
