Contentment is an emotional state of satisfaction brought on by being at ease with one's current situation, body, and mind. It's also more elusive than ever and a state we all seek unknowingly. Contentment and living at peace cannot be achieved through purchases, reaching a particular status, or through sheer will. True contentment comes through rearranging priorities, controlling expectations, and taking our hands off of the results of our efforts. We explore what true contentment means and ways to gauge the degree to which we are trying to control the world around us as well as ways to center our minds toward living in contentment.
