Thanks for checking out my new podcast Footnotes and Witness. This episode is the intro that explains what this is all about. Also, this is the start a series studying the apostles/disciples of Jesus Christ. By looking at who Jesus chose to have in His crew, we learn characteristics about Jesus. When we see Jesus rightly, we can more easily see Him in our own lives.

Reflection Questions:
Does your current faith stand up to life?
Do you believe you can read the Bible on your own?
What is something that is currently a barrier to you when reading the Bible?
Are you currently part of a local church?
Are there past traumas that hinder you from seeing Jesus Christ rightly?
What purpose do you see the Bible having in your life?
What do you think you might learn from studying the lives of the apostles?
2 questions to always keep in mind when reading the Bible:
Where is Jesus Christ in this passage?
What does this passage tell me about the character of God?
Benediction:
Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen
