What is it like to live in a world where it is normal to have to walk five miles for a clean source of water? Where water-born illnesses like Typhoid are still so common that the children can tell you about them. And is it possible to face those kinds of conditions on a daily basis, and still find joy in the Lord? Our guest today is Herbert Asiimwe a CPA from Uganda who is in charge of the Ugandan chapter of C.E.E.D. The Christian East African Economic Development Trust. Mr. Asiimwe knows what clean water means to his nation, and he has suffered from the illnesses that come from not having access to something so many of us take for granted. But Herbert’s story is also remarkable because it’s a story of joy that defies circumstances. So join Tom and Nate and our guest Herbert Asiimwe on this week’s episode of The Scattered Seeds Podcast.
