What does it take to work in intercultural missions? It’s a question that we sought to seek with our guest Carl Templin in our last episode, and its just as valid with our current guest. Scott Boyd spent a decade living and doing the Lords work in Slovenia with his family. From the first time he joined a mission trip Scott knew that that’s what he wanted to do with the rest of his life, even going so far as to walk away from a career in engineering. And even now, when he’s back home he is still working in international missions through Prism. Prism: or Pittsburgh Regional International Student Ministries should sound familiar to our regular listeners. It’s the organization that hosted our fifth guest Dhiraj Sonbare during his studies. And it is the organization founded in 1980 by last week’s guest Carl Templin upon his return from Ethiopia . So join Tom and Nate as they interview Scott to find out how this all came about. Welcome to another episode of The Scattered Seeds Podcast, where every life has a story.
